Description Destination
At around 7 kilometers long, the toboggan run from the summit back to the valley station is not only the longest in Eastern Switzerland. It is also one of the most varied and offers the most views. You can easily reach the starting point at the summit cross by cable car. We prepare the toboggan run fresh for you every day.
The route leads over the Scheidegg, Chlepfhütten, Roos and back to the Jakobsbad valley station. There are some very challenging sections, which is why we do not recommend the toboggan run for small children. The difference in altitude is 772 meters.
The toboggan run is not artificially snowed. Therefore, it can happen that some sections have little or no snow. And you must expect the waves and bumps that typically occur when tobogganing.

It takes an hour to get to us by car from Zurich and half an hour from the Gossau or St. Gallen-Winkeln motorway exit. From Konstanz you can reach us without a vignette via Bischofszell - Gossau - Herisau. The Jakobsbad stop of the Appenzeller Bahnen is also right next to the valley station.
