Description Destination
"Ils lags" is Romansh for "the lakes". In this respect, the lake in the middle of the village played a major role in giving Laax its name. In summer, Lake Laax, at 1,016 m above sea level, promises a cool swim. The bathing area at Lake Laax also has a large lawn with trees, a diving board, a beach volleyball court, a separate children's pool, a raft in the middle of the lake, as well as a kiosk and even a petting zoo for children.
