Description Destination
Each trip on the Liliputbahn lasts around 20 minutes and brings adventure, entertainment and fascination for technology. Various locomotives - each one unique - pull the open carriages through the beautiful Wiener Wurstelprater and further through the Auwald to the Ernst Happel Stadium.
A special experience is a trip on one of the historic steam locomotives. Although these are over 90 years old, they are still used on weekends, holidays and event days.
The Liliputbahn starts at the "Prater Hauptbahnhof" near the Praterstern S-Bahn and U-Bahn station in the heart of Vienna.
Travel times:
Start of operations: 10:00, end of operations depends on demand, normally in March: 17:00, in April 18:00, in May and June 19:00, July and August 20:00, September 18:00, October 17:00.
