On this signposted hiking trail, there are still numerous hole stones in their original location.
This circular trail uses information boards to explore the history of these fascinating menhirs, which are also known as hole stones. In the Vorau area alone, there are still over 550 such silent witnesses to the past. The walking time for this family-friendly and easy-to-walk trail is around 1.5 hours. This hike is even more interesting when the "Kuchlbauer" cider tavern is open!

    Sagenhaft ist die wohl weltweit größte Ansammlung an Lochsteinen im Gebiet um Vorau. Mystisch und sehr informativ und schön gestalteter Wanderweg. Gleichzeitig lässt sich dabei bei einem leichten Spaziergang die Schönheit des steirischen Jogllandes genießen. Aber dennoch eignet sich der Lochsteinrundweg perfekt, um in dieses Phänomen einzutauchen und sich mit den Erkenntnissen anschließend gemeinsam an einem Glas Most beim Kuchlbauer mit Gleichgesinnten auszutauschen.
