Description Destination
As part of a land art project, various works of art were created in and with the landscape in MondSeeLand. The Phyllotaxis stands on a small hill on the southern shore of Lake Irrsee and blends naturally into the landscape.
Phyllotaxis is the scientific term for the study of the position of leaves in plants. This gives the work of art a special connection to Lake Irrsee, which is completely protected.
The Phyllotaxis was created by the Dutch artist Sjoerd Buisman.
