Description Destination
As a cultural memory, the MiL is dedicated to the preservation and public communication of Swiss naive art, art brut and outsider art by deceased and active artists and reflects their work in other art genres. In a free understanding of art, it devotes its exhibition activities to this comparative debate. It awakens an understanding of the importance of the creative artistic process in the life of people in general and of the artists exhibited in particular. In doing so, it takes into account works from artistic border areas and from autodidacts who are often themselves border crossers in various respects.
