The Hauser Kaibling, the highest mountain in the Schladming 4-mountain ski area, is not only a highlight in winter but also a paradise for families in summer. Here, breathtaking nature, animal experiences and action-packed adventures meet culinary delights.
More than 800 sheep roam the Hauser Kaibling. A petting zoo, the new children's adventure trail, the Schafsinn pond with sheep climbing route, the Schafsinn barefoot path and much more await you on the topic of sheep.
Exciting playgrounds, themed hiking trails for all ages, beautiful e-bike tours and much more entice visitors to lofty heights. Fabulous viewpoints, such as from the summit at 2,015 meters, as well as culinary delights in the summer huts guarantee an enjoyable and relaxing mountain experience.

Sheep experience: 800 woolly companions all over the mountain.
Petting zoo: At 1,400 meters above sea level, soft cuddle moments with sheep, lambs, ponies, goats, rabbits and much more. experience.

- Information on opening hours: From June 19 to September 28, 2025, the 8-seater gondola and 8-seater chairlift Kaiblinggrat will take you daily to the Styrian pleasure mountain. Additionally, the Schladminger Tauern cable car in Haus will be open daily from June 27 to October 19, 2025. With your Summer Card, you can use our lifts for FREE.

From Germany:
Coming from Germany, you can easily take the Munich-Salzburg motorway and then the Tauern motorway (A10) to the Ennstal junction. From there it is only about 30 km via the federal highway (B320) to the Hauser Kaibling ski area.
From Upper Austria/Germany:
An alternative route leads from Nuremberg via Regensburg and Passau to the Voralpenkreuz in Wels. From there, continue on the Pyhrn motorway (A9) to the Selzthal junction and from there on the federal road (B320) towards Haus im Ennstal.
From Vienna:
Coming from the east, you arrive via Vienna (A23) and the Southern Autobahn (A2), then via the Semmering (S6) to the St. Michael junction. From there, take the Pyhrn motorway (A9) to the Liezen junction and then the Ennstal federal road (B320) to Haus im Ennstal.
Arrival by train:
The Hauser Kaibling ski area is located on the international Salzburg-Graz railway line. Express train stations are Schladming and Gröbming, express train stations are Haus im Ennstal and Öblarn.
From the valley station of the 8-seater gondola, take the cable car from the car park/bus stop to the mountain station.
