Welcome, future magicians, sorcerers and wizards! We are pleased that you are ready to take this test. As you may know, the Magic Academy organizes a special competition every year. This decides whether you are considered suitable to become part of the academy. Various challenges, puzzles and tasks await you. If you are successful, you will receive a place in the academy as a reward. We wish you the best of luck!

All you need is a cell phone and the free app "Actionbound". The route is about 2.5 kilometers and can easily be covered on foot. The adventure lasts about 1-2 hours. And is ideal for families aged 10+!
Ticket price: EUR 39.90 per cell phone (any number of people can play with one cell phone).

    Spannende Tour mit tollen Rätseln

    Wir hatten eine Menge Spaß! Bei den kreativen Rätseln war für jeden in der Familie was dabei und alle waren fröhlich bei der Sache. Und das beste: ein Ticket reicht für die ganze Familie!

    Hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht

    Als nicht Ortskundige hatten wir (Meine Frau, meine beiden Kinder - 9 und 12 Jahre und unser Hund) sehr viel Spaß, neben den Rätseln welche nicht immer einfach waren, sah und lernte man auch noch über die Stadt Linz. Dieses Spiel war perfekt für einen Tagesausflug nach Linz. Wir haben das Spiel nicht an einem Stück durchgespielt sondern haben zwischen drin noch einen Essenspause sowie Shoppingpause durchgeführt. Kann das Spiel nur Empfehlen für jeden der sich in Linz nicht auskennt und auf spielerischer Art durch die Stadt geführt werden möchte.

    Naja …

    Es sind ein paar nette Rätsel dabei, andere (Brunnen der Menschenrechte) sind einfach nur mühsam und auch mit allen Hinweisen nicht schlüssig und eindeutig lösbar.
    Über die Stadt selbst lernt man leider gar nichts, sie ist nur Kulisse.
    Als Gruppe hätten wir ein Tablet für gemeinsame Exploration und einen Block & Stift für Notizen benötigt (Inspektion mehrerer Bilder gleichzeitig), diese Information hat uns in der Vorbereitung gefehlt.
    Unsere Kinder (8 und 12) waren nach der 3. Station nur noch genervt, das nächste mal gehen wir wieder zu einem richtigen Escape Room

    Toller Ausflug mit Familie und Freunden

    Wir haben einen super spannenden Nachmittag in Linz mit unseren beiden Kindern und unseren Freunden verbracht. Einige Rätsel haben die Kinder gelöst, andere wir Erwachsene. Es war also für alle spannend, kniffelig und unterhaltsam. Wir haben spannende Orte entdeckt, die wir so bis dato gar nicht so wahrgenommen haben. Wir gingen definitiv mit einem anderen Blick durch die Stadt. Wir haben mit Donut Pause etwas über 2 Stunden gebraucht. Bewegt haben wir uns zwischen Hauptbahnhof und Hauptplatz. Also von der Strecke her auch absolut schaffbar.
    Den Kindern wie auch uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir werden auf jeden Fall noch weitere Rätsel buchen.
