ANDREAS BLASCHKE
After performances at the Schauspielhaus Bonn and the Theater "Die Kugel" Cologne, Andreas Blaschke completed a one-year training course at the puppet theater of the city of Cologne (Hänneschen Theater) and has been working full-time as a puppeteer, director and director consultant since 1989.
The Cologne Puppet Theatre has made it its mission to combine child-friendly content with high-quality acting, as puppet theatre in particular is often the first encounter with theatre for children.
The Cologne Puppet Theatre performs in schools, (city) theatres, youth centres and churches, at festivals organised by cultural offices in Germany and in German-speaking countries: Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Spain, Iran and Greece. Andreas Blaschke owns a puppet theater collection of around 400 exhibits. Exhibition venues were puppetry weeks and days
The Paper Museum in Bergisch Gladbach, the Villa Erkens in Korschbroich, the Augsburger Puppenkiste Museum and the Museum of Puppetry in Bad Kreuznach.
The Cologne Puppet Theater is a member of the international puppeteers' association UNIMA, in the Association of German Puppet Theaters (VDP).
