A leisurely stroll, suitable for a stroller, around the Darscho, a salt lake not far from the more famous Lange Lacke. Perfect for bird watching.

What is the Darsho?
It is a warm lake, which is called Darsho. The term "Darsho" comes
from Hungarian and means "Warmsee" but actually it is a
"Salt lakes".
You reach the Darscho about two kilometers north of Apetlon, directly
next to the goods road to Frauenkirchen on the Lackenradweg B20.
It measures approximately 1000 by 500 meters and is therefore easy to find.
It offers a popular habitat especially for birds. At Darsho,
huge reed island used as a shelter and breeding ground. In winter it is often used as
Ice skating rink used.

Simply combine the Lange Lacke tour and the Darscho with another
Point to the Apetlon bathing lake. A great tour through the Seewinkel in

The circuit in the national park is almost 14 km long
The Darscho is, alongside the Lange Lacke, the second natural jewel of Apetlon.
And if your kids are allowed to stay up late, it is worth a
Sunset at Darsho for observation.
