Description Destination

The hike starts in the center of Tschars. From there, follow the narrow asphalt road to the start of the Tscharser Waalweg and follow hiking trail no. 3 to the Sonnenhof. From there, turn left and walk uphill for about 5 minutes to Juval Castle. From the castle, descend along the road to the Schlosswirt. To return to Tschars, turn right above the Schlosswirt, past the Waalerhütte and Waalerschelle to the Sonnenhof. At the Sonnenhof, descend to the left following trail no. 1 in the direction of Staben. About halfway up between the castle and the valley floor, you come across the Stabener Waalweg, which leads us in the direction of the Himmelreich restaurant and into the center of Tschars.
