On the 2nd and 3rd weekend of Advent, the castle opens its gates to young and old from near and far. This year for the first time on both Fridays! We are pleased to be able to welcome you despite the difficult circumstances. With a sophisticated hygiene concept and the 2G regulation, we would like to offer you the safest possible visit to the Christmas market. To ensure that the number of visitors is evenly distributed, please also make use of the additional Fridays!
Advent in Lüntenbeck Castle is an inviting mix of tasty treats, selected works of art, charitable activities and magical entertainment. You will find very special gifts here, spread across around 100 individual stands. And the range of restaurants is also impressive.

Creative and atmospheric offers
In the garden tent, young visitors make poinsettias and magic bags – the Kiwanis Club Wuppertal, sponsor of the children’s bookcase in the yard, reads stories.
On both weekends, the beloved Kiepenkasper plays in the yard four times a day. Uwe Spillmann writes the pieces for his Kiepenkasper himself and thus brings a whole new momentum to the old Tri-Tra tradition. The performances last about 20 minutes and delight both children and adults.
Alpacas in a small enclosure: Monika Kempf brings two fluffy alpacas with her. The intelligent and curious animals like to come to the fence for a photo – as long as the flash remains turned off!
