Description Destination
Action, adventure, history and depth on an active Sunday outing for adults and the whole family. At various interactive stations around and inside the castle, young and old are invited once a month to become active themselves, try things out and rediscover themselves and a piece of regional history. Abseiling into the dungeon, live sand painting to the radio play, a giant marble run, drawing water from the historic cistern, or exploring the sound fountain together and making music – all this and much more awaits them on the castle grounds and in the knights' hall. They will experience historically exciting things during the guided tour, the narrated historical reports from the dungeon (fear hole), or the exhibition about the excavation finds. There is also plenty of time for rest and relaxation, whether through contemplation in the forest church, a cozy end to the day around the campfire or the serene atmosphere in the castle chapel, where you can also experience Compline (ecumenical evening prayer).
Cost: Adults €8, children €4, family ticket €18
Dogs are welcome on the premises.
The active Sunday outing generally starts at 2:30 pm and lasts until 6:00 pm.
