A walk to the Seewaldsee in Fontanella is worthwhile whatever the weather and whatever the season. It can be reached after an easy hike of about half an hour.

The name of the small mountain lake in the Great Walser Valley in Vorarlberg promises double refreshment. At 1,200 meters, it is nestled in lush meadows, but is still not as cold as you might think. Only a little fresh water flows into the lake, which is why it reaches a pleasantly warm temperature in summer. Perfect for a day of swimming in the mountains!

    Baden im Seewaldsee - ein Genuß

    Jedes Jahr Pflicht! Anreise mit dem Bus, bei Fontanella Säge aussteigen. Weiter entweder zu Fuß oder mit dem Seewaldsee-Zügle (V-Card). Schwimmen mit den Fischen, seichterer Bereich für kleinere Kinder, ein Floß (fix) im See zum Rasten, kleine Brücke/Steg (kein Geländer), wo man immer einige kleine Fische beobachten kann. Softeis und große, leckere Portionen Pommes beim Kiosk (zum Mitnehmen) auch sonst leckere Speisen, Sonnenschirme mietbar, solange der Vorrat reicht. Für uns nach wie vor perfekt.🤩👍 Freuen uns schon auf den Sommer.
