Welcome to the Sherlock Holmes Museum. Meiringen is now a place of pilgrimage for Holmes enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.

The museum is located in the English church, which was built in 1868 by Reverend Dr. C. J. May - Principal of the Collegial School of Nottingham - for the numerous English holiday guests in Meiringen at the time.
The museum has exhibits on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes and from the Victorian era. The carefully reconstructed living room of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson at 221B Baker Street, London is unique.
