The toboggan run starts at 1,180 meters above sea level at the middle station of the Marienbergbahnen in Biberwier. You toboggan through a beautiful natural landscape, overcoming a height difference of almost 200 meters to the valley station. The toboggan is transported by chairlift.

    Nach Sturz nie wieder Rodeln!

    Bin mit meinem 7 jährigen Sohn im Rodelbob gefahren und dabei ins Kippen gekommen und mit den nackten Beinen weitergeschlittert. Zum Glück konnte ich meinen Sohn mit Armen und Beinen schützen, aber meine Schürf- und Brandwunden waren enorm schmerzhaft. Die neuen Lederturnschuhe hatten seitlich ein Bremsloch vom schlittern, sonst wäre wohl noch mein Zeh geopfert worden.

    Hände weg von Rodelbahnen ohne Schienenführung. Ich hatte wirklich noch Glück im Unglück.

    Finger weg von dieser Rodelbahn!!! Enorme Verletzungsgefahr

    Finger weg von dieser Rodelbahn. Die Gefahr, dass der Schlitten kippt und man sich viele Verletzung mit regelrechten Verbrennungen einhandelt, ist enorm. Bei 4 Personen waren 2 betroffen! Dabei muss man nicht mal schnell fahren. Leider haben wir erst im Nachgang hiervon erfahren. Das hat uns jedoch nichts genutzt. Neben tiefen Wunden wurden die Hosen und Oberteile irreparabel beschädigt! Wir, mein Mann und ich, kämpfen noch nach 1,5 Wochen mit den auch sehr schmerzhaften Verletzungen. Beim Wandern ist das sehr belastend. Daher auch wenn es im Z-Ticket mit enthalten ist: Ihr hab mehr Freude OHNE diese Rodelbahn. Wir benutzen nur noch Rodelbahnen auf Schienen.

    Overall impression

    Gefährliche Rodelbahn!

    Die Sommerrodelbahn ist nichts für Familien - bin mit meinem Sohn gefahren (wirklich langsam) und unser Schlitten ist in Kurve 13 umgekippt - das Ergebnis schwerste Schürfwunden und Verbrennungen. An der Talstation wurde lediglich die Adresse einer Apotheke und eines Arztes aufgeschrieben, Pflaster gab es erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen.
    Kurz nach uns ist an der gleichen Stelle eine weitere Familie verunglückt. In der Apotheke wurde dann bestätigt, dass solche Unfälle täglich mehrfach passieren und sie sich entsprechend ausgestattet haben. Warum gegen diese Unfälle nichts unternommen wird, versteht niemand in der Region!
