Description Destination
Families with children will find a true paradise on the small, old mountain farm Rainguthof. Many well-known and rare animals roam around in a large, lovingly designed open-air area with many small stables. As if it were Noah's Ark, there are many domestic and farm animals, birds, small animals and game on a small pasture with a small natural playground. In addition to cows and horses, a large number of sheep of all kinds of breeds, dwarf goats, pigs and donkeys, peacocks and pheasants, ducks, pigeons, geese and even deer can also be found in the Rainguthof animal world. In 2020, two tame camels from Mongolia also moved in, expanding the colorful animal hustle and bustle.
Children can pet many of the animals, some of which roam freely, and feed them with the food provided. The fact that there are always offspring throughout the year, such as a mouflon calf or a fawn, is a real experience for the little ones. A snack stand with drinks and small meals provides refreshments in between, which can also be enjoyed on the spacious picnic lawn.
The Rainguthof is open all year round with a voluntary donation and is located directly on the road leading to the Gampen Pass, about 2 km above the village of Gfrill in the municipality of Tisens. A free, spacious parking lot is available directly at the Tierwelt Rainguthof.
The Rainguthof animal world is open every day during the day all year round without exception for a voluntary donation.
