Where man came from
The URMU is the central experience museum for Ice Age art and is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, visitors can gain insights into the everyday life of Ice Age people through audio examples and hands-on stations. And here you will also be presented with the oldest man-made figurative works of art and musical instruments, which were found in the nearby caves and are some of which are 40,000 years old. Visit the place where prehistory is brought back to life. There is also a Stone Age workshop every Sunday.

By train
Blaubeuren is on the Ulm - Sigmaringen railway line.
The museum can be reached from the train station in around 20 minutes on foot (1 km). From the train station, follow Karlstrasse towards the city center. The museum is located at the beginning of the old town in the second building on the right.
The museum entrance is on the southern church square.

By coach or car
Follow the signs on the B28 at the train station towards the city center / museum. Turn right at the traffic lights at the beginning of the old town. Here you will find public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the museum. Coaches can park in the bus parking lot at the city moat.
