Vorderer Langbathsee (1.1 km long, 400 m wide, approx. 36 m deep) nature reserve at the foot of the Höllengebirge, crystal-clear water of drinking water quality, free natural beaches (dogs are not allowed on the lawn or bathing in the lake), excellent mountain scenery and circular hiking trails, former hunting lodge of Emperor Franz Josef, mountain bike trail, also ideal for jogging (there is a 7.2 km running trail around both lakes). Average lake temperature 22° - 25° C.
Hinterer Langbathsee (600 m long, 400 m wide, approx. 23 m deep) - absolute nature reserve and a natural jewel.
