Description Destination

Swinging in the nest under the treetops, tinkering with a forest puzzle, walking together across the suspension bridge, building a really cool forest work of art or being surprised by the optical discs. The FOREST OF THE SENSES is a gem in the middle of the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park where you can recharge your batteries, get some exercise, sharpen your senses, be creative or relax at 25 places. On the 1.5 km long circular path, which is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs, everyone is sure to find at least one place that feels really good.
Our favorite place is: "With and without children, the four-poster bed." Where we can rest blissfully and enjoy the wonderful view over the Neubergertal in the middle of the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park. It is possible that the deer (from the adjacent game reserve) will watch us from behind or the grazing cows and horses from the front.

    Coming from Vienna or Graz (1 hour drive each way), take the S6 at Mürzzuschlag Ost or West and head towards Mürzsteg and Neuberg/Mürz. On the B23, at the start of Neuberg, you will find the Teichwirt Urani on the right-hand side (large green sign). 50 m before that there is a signpost pointing towards Schneealm/Michlbauer and the Wald der Sinne. Follow the road for 1 km and then keep right again. The gravel road leads you directly to the Wald der Sinne car park after 1 km.
