    Ein Ausflugsziel, das Spass macht und Natur näherbringt

    Der Zoo ist sowohl für Familien als auch für uns als Pensionäre oder Paare ein super Ausflugsziel. Es gibt viele Spielplätze, Kioske mit Leckereien und besonders tolle Tiergehge. Die Tiere fühlen sich wohl und als Besucher kann man immer was erleben oder von den Tierpflegern etwas über die Tiere erfahren. Wirklich ein toller Ort.

    Overall impression

    Ausflug in die Natur mit vielen Tierbegegnungen für die ganze Familie

    Der Walter Zoo ist 365 Tage im Jahr geöffnet und zu jeder Jahreszeit ein Besuch wert – nicht nur bei Sonnenschein. Die Nähe zu den Tieren ist beeindruckend und verschiedene Tiere wie Zebras und Vikunjas aber auch Ponys und Zwergziegen können mit zooeigenen Heupellets gefüttert werden. Ein Highlight in der Hauptsaison ist der Besuch des Zootheaters. Die vielen Abenteuerspielplätze, die auf dem ganzen Zoogelände verteilt sind, lieben die Kinder und es gibt verschiedene Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten sowie Picknickplätze und Grillstellen. Die Zooschule, der Naturlehrpfad und die vielen Beschilderungen sind sehr lehrreich. Vor einigen Monaten wurde eine neue Anlage mit Kleinen Pandas und Zwergotter eröffnet.
