In summer, the Grießenkar is the ideal starting point for a variety of hikes for all ability levels. Only 70 kilometers from the city of Salzburg and easily accessible via the Tauern Autobahn, the Grießenkar is one of the most popular family excursion destinations in SalzburgLand. You can get to the Grießenkar comfortably from Wagrain or Flachau with the Flying Mozart and Starjet 1+2 cable cars. Families are attracted by Flori's Adventure Trail, a circular trail suitable for strollers that starts at the mountain station of the Starjet 1. Rustic alpine huts and mountain inns offer refreshment after the eventful hours and invite you to stop off along the child-friendly hiking trails.

A paradise for young mountain bikers!
Right at the middle station of the Flying Mozart gondola in Wagrain there is a great new highlight for families and children: the new woom bike area in Snow Space Salzburg! Child-friendly trails, obstacles and drops await the little bikers on 5,900 m².
There is something for every skill level: initial balancing exercises and jumping skills are tested on the beginner-friendly drops, lines and tables in the child-friendly practice area. Those who are a little more confident can venture onto the waves and steep curves with a 5% gradient, and for the really brave, there are flow trails with gradients of up to 8%.
