Description Destination

Perfect hike for half a day. You can park at the Latschenwirt (Buchhöhstraße 122) and from there take a comfortable forest path to the alpine pasture. The whole path is suitable for all-terrain strollers, only the last few meters are a bit steeper but manageable. There are a few animals waiting at the alpine pasture, such as ponies, rabbits, goats, horses and goldfish. The alpine pasture offers good, down-to-earth food and a shop for (forest) art.

    Overall impression

    Schöne Wanderung mit Kinderwagen

    Wir waren an einem sehr heißen Tag zur Wolfschwangalm unterwegs und haben die Kühle des Waldes genossen. Großteils verläuft der Weg im Wald und somit im Schatten. Der Kinderwagen kann ohne Probleme geschoben werden, gute Reifen sind natürlich Voraussetzung. Auf der Alm gibt es ein paar Tiere in einem Gehege und Goldfische direkt bei der Alm, perfekt für unseren zweijährigen Sohn. Das Essen ist solide und die Preise fair. Die Aussicht über Großgmain und Bayerischgmain ist super. Zwischen Tiergehege und Alm befindet sich ein kleiner Spielplatz. Auf jeden Fall eine sehr empfehlenswerte Wanderung!
