    Overall impression

    Meine Kinder lieben es

    Wir wohnen direkt beim Wellenbad, daher ist es für unsere Kinder ein Ort, den sie auf gar keinen Fall missen möchten. Im Sommer sind wir fast täglich dort.

    Große Anlage mit Sportbecken (50 m), das unsere Töchter (8+10) gerne durch schwimmen. Der Sprungturm ist vor allem für Jugendlichen ein Treffpunkt. Das Wellenbecken (alle 30 Minuten Wellengang) und die Rutsche daneben ist bei den Kindern im mittleren Alter extrem beliebt. Das Planschbecken ist für Kleinkinder super geeignet. Wassertemperatur in allen Becken eher kühl bzw. kalt.

    Im Sportbereich gibt es Möglichkeiten für Beachvolleyball, Fußball und Volleyball. Ein kleiner Spielplatz, Sandspielplatz und Wasserlauf mit Pumpe gehören auch dazu. Trinkwasser bekommt man aus kleinen Wasserspendern an bestimmten Stellen.

    Sehr weitläufige Liegewiesen mit alten Bäumen. Man bekommt immer einen Schattenplatz, außer vielleicht es ist mal sehr heiß und extrem viel los.

    Insgesamt viel los und eher laut im Sommer, aber für Familie mit Kindern gut geeignet. In der Hochsaison reicht der Parkplatz beim Wellenbad meist nicht aus und die Autos parken dann auf den Wiesenanlagen beim Wellenbad.

    Wer es naturnaher und kleiner mag, empfehle ich das Flussbad in St. Ruprecht/Raab. Dort gibt es ein kleineres Schwimmbecken mit kleiner Rutsche für Kinder und eine große Liegewiese mit hohen Bäumen. Hat ein ganz eigenes Ambiente und Flair.

    Auch naturnah und sehr beliebt bei Familien ist auch der Teich in Großsteinbach. Große Wiesenfläche zum Laufen und Tollen für Kinder.

    Das Gleisdorfer Wellebad gehört bereits seit meiner Kindheit zu meinen Lieblingsplätzen im Sommer!
