The ferryman takes visitors 70 m into the mystical interior of the earth and explains the formation, history and geology of the Wimsen Cave and the Swabian Alb, as well as the relatively young history of the historic Wimsen estate. The small hamlet of Wimsen is idyllically located in the romantic Aach Valley between Hayingen and Zwiefalten and is an ideal hiking paradise for young and old.

    Ideal bei Hitze

    Ganz tolle Höhle, unterhaltsame Führung
    Allerdings klappt es mit den Zeiten zum Abfahren nicht so richtig, hatte 13.15 Uhr den Termin, konnte nicht mitfahren wegen Überfüllung, warte gerne 15 Minuten bis zum nächsten Boot, da wollten sie mich wieder nicht mitfahren lassen, erst als ich mich beschwert habe durfte ich mitfahren und das obwohl nicht viel los war, Fazit: Organisation könnte besser sein

    Wimsener Höhle

    Die Umgebung Ist schon und lädt zum Wandern ein. Die Kahnfahrt dauert knappe 10 Minuten und ist mit 6 Euro je Erwachsener n. m. M. total überteuert. 1,5 Euro wäre angemessen. Das gute Essen im Lokal macht den Frust der teuren Kahnfahrt auch nicht wett.
