Let yourself be enchanted by an exciting and eventful walk through the magical forest of Sautens.
WIDI shows you the way and along the way you get to know his friends, the animals of the forest. You will learn what they do and why it is so important to protect them. You will meet the busy bee, the fluttering butterfly, the little field mouse and many, many more.
From the “Three Churches View” platform you have a great view of WIDI’s homeland. At the end of your magical journey, you can really let off steam in the forest playground!

Directions
The starting point is at the elementary school in Sautens (above the church). From there you walk diagonally up a forest path to the next station. You will meet many animals such as bees, butterflies, ants and many more. After the path across the meadows, the path continues into the forest, where WIDI meets more animals and experiences all kinds of things. Finally, when your parents are a little tired, you can have fun in the forest playground, collect stones, leaves, cones and much more and build a beautiful picture, a figure, so that the animals of the forest have a memory of you. The path after the playground leads back down and back to the starting point, the elementary school.
Walking time: about one hour
The path was designed for families, even with very small children, and is stroller-friendly.
