In the new Zugspitzpark in Ehrwald, summer in the mountains becomes a real experience for the whole family. Right next to the Wettersteinbahn cable car, a unique combination of exercise, nature and fun awaits you.
The highlight is the new forest slide adventure trail: Six different giant slides – including tube and wave slides – lead through the forest and make the way down to the valley a real adventure. The golden eagle slide is particularly impressive, measuring almost 36 meters in length and with a height difference of around 14 meters. Ideal for children and anyone who wants to experience hiking in a different way.
For those who prefer a more sporty experience, the new bike park offers varied trails of different difficulty levels. Whether you're a beginner, advanced rider or experienced biker – everyone will find their perfect line here.
Another highlight is the archery course at the valley station with 3D targets – here concentration, feel and a good eye are required. An exciting nature experience for young and old.
In addition, there are fantastic views of the Zugspitze massif, cozy places to relax and numerous opportunities to spend the day in a completely relaxed or active way. Tip for a stop: Gamsalm Ehrwald - reachable in just 25 minutes on foot from the mountain station or as a detour after the second slide (10 minutes in and 10-15 minutes back).
Further attractions such as a geology and forest bird nature trail are already in preparation and will make the Zugspitzpark even more diverse in the future.
