Description Destination
The dwarf path leads from Gänsbrunnen to the Montpelon mountain farm and is signposted with "dwarf" signs. In an entertaining and playful way, young and old can learn about and appreciate nature through the eyes of the dwarves. At the end of the dwarf path, each child receives a "Nature & Dwarf Diploma" as a souvenir.
The actual hiking time is around 30 minutes. But since there is a lot to discover, play and experience, the walk can of course be extended as desired. Various benches along the dwarf path invite you to linger and rest.
Unfortunately, the dwarf path is not accessible with a stroller.

Car: Arrival from Oensingen: From the Oensingen motorway exit, head towards Balsthal - Moutier. In Gänsbrunnen, in the sharp right-hand bend, turn left above the Hotel St. Joseph. When the road leads into the forest, there are parking spaces on the left, then follow the signs to the Berghof and the Zwergenweg on foot.
Arrival from Moutier: From Moutier, drive towards Balsthal, past Eschert - Crémins. In Gänsbrunnen, past the train station and then the quarry. In the sharp left-hand bend above the Hotel St. Joseph, turn right. When the road leads into the forest, there are parking spaces on the left, then follow the signs to the Berghof and the Zwergenweg on foot.
