Val Gardena in traditional costume
The festive parade "Val Gardena in traditional costume" takes place on the first Sunday in August, alternating between one of the three villages in Val Gardena. Locals dress up in traditional Val Gardena costumes and make the region's homeland tangible for everyone.

We live in an enchanting natural setting, this fantastic Dolomite area is a natural habitat for numerous wild animals such as deer, chamois, foxes, squirrels, marmots and hares. Since these animals live freely, it is very difficult to meet them: the animals have been hand-carved in wood, life-size, and positioned along the walking paths and on the edge of the forests around Selva.
