We want to go hiking, preferably with a lake and a restaurant nearby, not too far away. Sounds simple? But it wasn't. A platform for well-researched destinations for families is missing.

This is how the idea was born: familienausflug.info – a website that provides parents with suitable excursion tips in just a few minutes. With filters, pictures, reviews, and all the information a family really needs.

From a passion project to a high-reach platform

As an experienced portal manager in the tourism industry, I knew how to get started. What began with a lot of passion, research, and self-construction has, over the years, become the go-to resource for family outings in Austria and beyond. Our community grew with every excursion tip . First around Salzburg, then throughout the country. Today, familienausflug.info helps hundreds of thousands of families every month find the perfect destination .
