We spoil you with culinary delights – whether it’s a 2-toque restaurant or a snack bar, traditional or modern – but always regional, fresh and with an extra portion of Mühlviertel – “Tasty treats instead of fast food” is our motto.       We offer our guests a wide range of leisure, sports and events. In addition to the many traditional festivals, events, concerts and theater performances, the Mühlviertel Musical Festival Weeks, the Mühlviertel Classic, the Vorderweißenbach Operetta Gala Evenings and the International Music Days in Bad Leonfelden are certainly the event highlights of the year.

    Bad Leonfelden is located 27 km north of the Upper Austrian capital Linz.

    By car:
    Motorway A1 towards Linz - at the Linz junction, change from the A1 to the A7 towards Prague, Freistadt - after approx. 12 km on the A7, take the Linz-Urfahr exit, drive approx. 28 km on the B126 towards Bad Leonfelden.

    From Passau, follow the B338 to the Wegscheid border crossing - on the Austrian side, take the Böhmerwald federal road (B38) via Kollerschlag and Peilstein in the Mühlviertel to Rohrbach - in Rohrbach, turn left towards Haslach an der Mühl and follow the B38 via Helfenberg to Vorderweißenbach to Bad Leonfelden.

    By train and bus:
    To Linz main station, take the post bus to Bad Leonfelden for a fee (32 km)
