Description Destination Bauer&Wirt Langthaler
We are country and innkeepers with heart and soul.
We attach great importance to the natural cycle of nature, which is why we produce feed and bedding (straw) for the red deer, horses, rabbits and pigs ourselves and use the manure as fertilizer (composted).
Cider, naturally cloudy juices and jams are produced from the farm's own fruit; our guests can enjoy all of these products in the inn and take home delicacies from the "Jaus'n Kist'l".
We manage ... forests, ... meadows and fields, see ourselves as a large part of nature, which is why we heat with wood chips and the water supply and sewage disposal is carried out by the local cooperatives, the electricity supply is partly via a photovoltaic system.
Come along and be warmly welcomed to a deer feeding or a leisurely carriage ride through the forests around Pömling.
If you would like to get to know our farm better, we invite you to enjoy a holiday in our holiday apartments or camping on the farm.
We have been landowners and innkeepers since 1824 and are currently in the 8th generation & the 9th is just around the corner. In the kitchen, chef Franz, grandma Grete and daughter Claudia use the products from their own farm, which is mainly managed by grandpa Franz and son Patrik, to create delicious dishes, smoked specialties and sweet delicacies. Boss Sonja will enchant you in the service; her personal recommendation after the meal is the homemade pine schnapps.
Whether in the guest room, in the fireplace room, the village room, the farm courtyard or at the Panoramaplatz'l, we have the perfect atmosphere for every celebration, we have special places for special moments in life, which are also often booked for cozy picnics.
Our little guests are very important to us; they can let off steam in the 3,000 m² adventure playground. Our horses, red deer, rabbits, dogs and cats are happy to be petted.
