A highlight you shouldn’t miss!
In a cave passage you will receive information about the history of the dragons in Furth im Wald, the festival and the technology of the largest 4-legged walking robot in the world (entered in the Guinness Book of Records) before you finally arrive in the dragon's cave. Pure excitement!
Learn more about the background, the history of its creation and the technology before you experience this mythical creature live and in full action.
Be amazed by the natural movements as the dragon walks towards you; it will smile at you, but also bare its teeth fiercely. And when the monster hurls meter-long bursts of fire at you, the message is - keep your distance!
During a "Moving Dragon" guided tour, you will not be able to visit or view the Dragon Cave for approximately 2.5 hours due to the limited number of visitors.
The new Further Dragon is the largest four-legged walking robot in the world, packed with cutting-edge electronics and amazing special effects! With its enormous dimensions of 4.5 m high and 15.5 m long, 3.8 m wide, 12 m wingspan and a weight of 11 t, the monster now has official confirmation with its entry in the Guinness Book of Records.
It has natural movements, sophisticated facial expressions and hurls meter-long bursts of fire from its throat. The Zollner company, together with the mechatronics network in the Cham district, in collaboration with Hollywood specialists, space research and leading German robot manufacturers, has brought the Further Dragon to life: a sensation that is unique worldwide!
In the Dragon's Cave, audio guides are available free of charge in German, Czech, English and French.
During the “Moving Dragon” tours, you will be amazed by the natural movements as the dragon walks towards you. He will smile at you, but also glare at you.
And when the monster hurls meter-long bursts of fire at you, the message is – keep your distance!
