The former garden show grounds with the town pond and the pond terraces are located directly next to the historic old town | Large adventure and water playground as well as catering by the lake.
From the "Weiherterrassen" - a beautiful sun deck with stepped seating - you can look out over the lake to the backdrop of the historic old town. In the warmer seasons, we serve food directly on the lake.
If you follow the 14 water tables - the former mill canal - along the city wall, you will reach the historic half-timbered old town of Eppingen and the "Schwanen". The path continues along the Bachwegle Promenade to other parks of the former garden show.
Shining children’s eyes
Directly opposite at Steinplatz, in front of the historic backdrop of the half-timbered town, children will find a true play paradise. A "normal" adventure playground in winter, the water games provide a welcome cooling off during the warmer months.
Places of deceleration
An insider tip is the small island at the confluence of Elsenz & Hillsbach. The small island can be reached via large ashlars in the stream bed. The ideal location for a romantic selfie.

Eppingen has a well-developed road network and is conveniently located directly on the B293 federal highway as an east-west tangent from Heilbronn to Karlsruhe. The BAB 6 motorway can be reached in around seven kilometers via the L 1110 feeder road.
With the services of the Albtal-Verkehrsgesellschaft and Deutsche Bahn, local public transport in Eppingen is also well developed. The S4 can be used to reach destinations on the light rail line between Öhringen in the Künzelsau district and Baden-Baden, and the S5 of Deutsche Bahn provides easy access to Heidelberg and Mannheim, important long-distance train stations.
