Every child dreams of going to Disneyland once in their life. No wonder: The Paris theme park has created a brightly colored world in which dreams and fairy tales become reality. This is where the world-famous Disney characters are at home - Mickey, Goofy and Donald go on adventures here every day! Do you want to do something good for your offspring? Or awaken the inner child in you? Then don't wait any longer and start planning your trip right away. Because Walt Disney once said "All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them"! Disneyland is huge and your vacation time is unfortunately limited. So that you can get the most out of your stay, here are 7 valuable tips that you can use directly when planning your vacation. By the way: Did you know that you can even get Disneyland Paris tickets with a hotel overnight stay ?
Tip 1: Arrive early
Disneyland opens its gates every day at 10 a.m. Be sure to be one of the first visitors and enjoy the early hour. In the morning, the queues in front of the attractions are not too long and you have a more undisturbed setting for photos and selfies on the site. At lunchtime and in the afternoon, it can get really crowded. Tip from the experts: Guests staying in one of the Disneyland hotels enjoy even earlier entry. For them, the park opens as early as 8 a.m.
Tip 2: Leave late
If you're already in Disneyland, you should make the most of your visit. You can use the rides until late in the evening or treat yourself to something in the various restaurants. Don't miss: the fireworks and light show every evening shortly before the park closes. Shortly before the park closes, Disneyland has a highlight that no visitor should miss. The Illuminations at Sleeping Beauty Castle are a mixture of fireworks, video projection and spectacular water displays that will take your breath away. Sit down on the castle square with the other park visitors and enjoy the spectacle to the fullest.
Tip 3: Plan your meals
The myth persists that Disneyland's own snacks are forbidden. But that's nothing more than a myth. Of course, you can bring snacks and drinks with you and consume them in Disneyland. But be sure to leave some room in your stomach for the delicious food in the park. From refreshing ice cream to delicious cakes to delicious buffets in one of the many restaurants, Disneyland serves everything every day.
Tip 4: The FASTPASS
If you don't want to wait in long queues, the FASTPASS is an absolute must. With it, you can simply stroll past the crowds at special attractions and you're right in the middle of the great driving fun. The FASTPASS is available in several versions: the free version allows you to ride once, while the paid FASTPASS, for example, allows you to get into all the marked highlights more quickly for a whole day starting at 30 euros (as of August 2019).
Tip 5: Parades are a must!
The Disney parades are a fantastic potpourri of dance, music and spectacular performances by your favorite Disney stars. The parades meet in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle several times a day to celebrate with the fans, dance and, of course, sing their favorite Disney songs. The themes of the parades vary depending on the season: What do you think of a scary Halloween parade or an imaginative jungle parade, for example?

Tip 6: Show planning
At Disneyland, you can enjoy pretty much every attraction throughout the day and well into the evening - except for the spectacular stunt show "Moteurs...Action", which is performed every day in the Walt Disney Studios Park and has already been seen by 27 million enthusiastic visitors. During the show, real stuntmen perform tricks that will take your breath away. Explosions, fire and flying cars included. Don't miss this spectacle and ask about the show's times when you arrive - of course, it's completely free!
Tip 7: 2 is better than 1
Disneyland is big - a total of 22.3 km²! It's almost impossible to see and experience everything worth seeing in just one day. It's better to take a little more time and plan two days for your visit to Disneyland. Since Disneyland consists of two different parks (Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park), you can conveniently plan a whole day for each of these parks.
