Our excursion tip for a day trip: the theme park and adventure playground in the IKUNA nature resort.

Our very personal start to the summer season was a visit to the IKUNA Nature Resort at the end of March! Admittedly, the weather didn't look like summer on March 31st ;) - we were given an exclusive tour of the park in the best April weather. Included: the newly built Dino World with life-sized dinosaurs including sound . Very impressive!

Also brand new: the classic car exhibition , which houses true treasures of automotive history. Be sure to take a look!

Many areas in the IKUNA Nature Resort have been expanded - the super-long wooden ball track and the countless different play stations for swinging, sliding and climbing are particularly cool - endless fun is guaranteed here!!!

IKUNA makes children’s eyes light up

As soon as you enter the park, you can see from the youngsters that this is going to be great!

Equipped with the park map , we explored the park, tried the balancing park, jumped, climbed, swung and slid. It's really great: all the stations are connected by small and large paths - here you can let yourself drift seamlessly from one highlight to the next.

IKUNA Dino World

The IKUNA Nature Resort is starting the 2023 season with many new features . One of the TOP new features is the Dino World , which consists of ten life-size dinosaurs that let children immerse themselves in the world of dinosaurs. The children can admire the dinosaurs and also learn something about the history and knowledge surrounding them.

Another new addition is Austria's largest pirate world , which has been expanded again this year. The pirate world is an adventure land where children can climb, run long distances, slide, ride rafts and live out their thirst for adventure.

IKUNA Classic Cars Museum - Classic Car Exhibition

This is also new: The Classic Cars Museum with American vintage cars from the 60s and 70s.

IKUNA has another highlight: the 540-meter-long wooden marble run , including a seven-meter-high sphere tower as the starting point. A 55-meter-long triple cable car has also been built to increase the adrenaline rush.

IKUNA gastronomy - regional & seasonal

For the gastronomy lovers among the visitors, meat dishes from local suppliers such as Wallner-Bio Hof or meinSchwein from Eschenau have been available since the beginning of the year. The regionality and seasonality of the dishes are the focus and are particularly important to IKUNA. Various theme weeks and attractive offers round off the menu during the week for all visitors to KIDS WORLD.

What's particularly nice is that the snack machines only serve great organic snacks and drinks . You can say "yes" with a clear conscience if the kids need a little energy boost between meals.

IKUNA is perfect for companies, schools and clubs: team building, class or club trips - everything is possible

The resort also offers many opportunities for team building activities for companies , schools and clubs. The 16-metre-high, free-standing high ropes course with an almost 100-metre-long, integrated flying fox , a new Segway track and the mountain cart track ensure many exciting and challenging hours.

Stay at the IKUNA Nature Resort – high quality & sustainable

The IKUNA Nature Resort also offers a special adventure: spending the night in the starry sky chalet . The accommodations are built in a forest clearing and without any soil sealing, with building materials from Austria , with larch and spruce wood and great attention to detail. The breathtaking starry sky chalets take holiday comfort to a new level. Guests can seek peace and quiet or find a place to dream, as the chalets are up to fourteen and a half meters high and have stairs that wind upwards inside to save space.

Unexpected luxury - our night in the Lakeside Tipi

We were allowed to spend the night in one of the Lakeside Tipis and it was absolutely enchanting - a truly unexpected luxury! The Tipis are of high quality and very modern, the rooms are very spacious and really excellently equipped. We also have to mention the beautiful bathroom with a large shower and space for all visitors at the same time. We are absolutely delighted! The view from the Lakeside terrace: priceless!

IKUNA Kids World indoor playground

Even if the weather isn't great, you're in good hands at IKUNA. The indoor playground Kids World with the Mirakulix restaurant offers hours of fun for young and old. The climbing volcano with giant slide is really fun, there's a trampoline area and a huge, multi-story all-you-can-play area for romping, sliding and hiding. In the upper area you'll also find interactive play options and table football, air hockey and the like. The integrated 5D cinema is also great fun! There's also a lovingly designed play corner for smaller (crawling) children in the Kids World.
