Start the ski season now in the Stuhleck ski area!

The Stuhleck will be the first ski area in eastern Austria to start the winter season on December 8, 2022.

Thanks to the powerful snowmaking system, Stuhleck is the first and so far only ski area in eastern Austria to start the winter season this week. The four slopes in the upper part of the ski area will be available to all winter sports fans in their full width and perfectly groomed.

The six-seater chairlifts “Weißenelf” and “Steinbachalm” will therefore be in full operation - the Stuhleckbahn will be used as a feeder system in and out of the ski area during this time. Operating times: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

ADVENT MAGIC at the Panorama Restaurant W11

The start of the season also makes the second mountain Advent weekend on December 10th and 11th, 2022 a special experience for young and old, because the combination of skiing and Advent market is unique far and wide. The area around the mountain station of the Weißenelfbahn is transformed into an atmospherically illuminated Christmas village and invites winter sports fans to linger until 8 p.m. after the first turns of the season with atmospheric music, arts and crafts and romantic Christmas sounds.

SKI OPENING

The official ski opening can also take place as planned on December 15, 2022. From 11 a.m., guests can expect a celebrity ski race and a live performance by chart-topper CHRIS STEGER in the W11 panorama restaurant.
