Description Destination

The Swabian Tower Clock Museum, founded by Wolfgang Vogt in 1979, is a very special experience:
for children and young people, adults, laypeople and specialists.
There is no peace in this museum when huge chronometers tick, levers fall in, wind vanes run out, the flute clock plays its songs or a historical bell is rung.
With around 50 tower clocks and a total of over 100 exhibits from five centuries, the collection in the former New Year's Eve Chapel is the first and most extensive in Germany.
The 48m high chapel tower in the heart of the old town is also climbed in stages to experience the environment of the old timepieces and their stories in a holistic way on a guided tour. The world's second longest clock pendulum, over 26m, also swings here every 5 seconds.
