Description Destination
The range of exhibits stretches from the Sargant “bone shaker” bicycle from 1864 to early high and low wheelers to the most famous motorcycles in the world up to 1990. The world’s finest brands are gathered here, from Brough Superior to Henderson, Norton and Scott to Velocette.
But a lot of space is also devoted to the moped and its auxiliary engines. It almost goes without saying that the Austrian brands, from long-forgotten ones such as Bostik, Delta Gnom, LAG or Titan to the big names Lohner, KTM and Puch, are represented in a representative and comprehensive manner like in no other museum.
The absolute highlight of the exhibition is the most comprehensive Puch two-wheeler exhibition in the world. As part of Ehns' extensive Puch collection, extreme rarities such as a Puch Damen-LM from 1924, an R-Puch (named after Max Reisch, famous for his trip to India) from 1935, or a Puch 800 from 1936 can be seen, as well as popular models, from the Puch TF to the SGS to the M 125.
All Puch moped model series are also presented as examples. The exhibition is rounded off with prototypes and exhibits from the former Puch works (now Magna Steyr) – unique worldwide and only on display in this museum.
In addition to the extensive permanent exhibition, there are ongoing special shows and events, from the traditional Easter flea market for classic motorcycles and parts to the Biker Advent.
