On October 5, 2025, it's time again: lace up your running shoes for the animals!
The Vegan Society of Austria cordially invites all running-enthusiastic animal lovers to the 14th Animal Welfare Run on the Prater Hauptallee. This is where sports enthusiasts, animal lovers and recreational runners come together to make a statement for animal welfare. Whether you're chasing personal bests or simply want to enjoy the unique atmosphere! In addition to a fast, officially measured course, you can expect pacemakers, a motivating atmosphere and a bulging goodie bag for all participants. Be there and run for the animals!
Process:
• 10:00 a.m.: Start (bib number distribution, late registration)
• 1:00 p.m.: Student winners ceremony
• 1:30 p.m.: Start of the main race
• 2:30 p.m.: Awards ceremony
Apply:
• 100 m Kids' Run: 0–7 years, free, start 11:30 a.m. (Your race numbers will be made by yourself, no race number collection necessary!)
• 850 m school run: 8–13 years, warm-up 11:45 a.m., start 12:00 p.m.
• 5 km and 10 km main races: Warm-up 1:15 p.m., start 1:30 p.m.
• 5 km Nordic Walk: Warm-up 1:15 p.m., start 1:40 p.m
