Description Destination

The 7.7 km long apple path leads from Natz to Raas and back to the starting point, the village square in Natz. In addition to the numerous apple orchards, the circular hike also takes you through the Sommersürs and Raiermoos biotopes, as well as the Flötscher Weiher.
Information boards along the way contain interesting facts about apple cultivation in Natz-Schabs and the apple country of South Tyrol. Towards the end of the theme trail you walk along the Way of the Cross. Here you have the opportunity to take another break at the Ölberg lookout point and relax on the loungers before returning to the village square in Natz.
Directions:
Starting from the village square in Natz, walk along the road towards Viums, then turn left onto a side path to the Sommersürs biotope. After the biotope, follow the sign for Apfelweg to Flötscher Weiher and from there continue along the path to the crossroads. Cross the road here and hike over the Mesnerbühel towards Raas. There you pass the Raiermoos biotope. From here, the apple path leads uphill past a large reservoir to the main road to Natz. Follow this road south for a short while, then turn right off the road. At the next intersection turn left towards north, then turn sharply right. The Way of the Cross finally takes you back to the starting point in the village centre of Natz.
