Description Destination

The Geiger Archive looks after the artistic work of Rupprecht Geiger in the former studio rooms in Munich-Solln. There is always a current presentation to see, which changes every two years. At the moment, the so-called 'Düsseldorf years' are being shown in particular. From 1965 to 1976, Geiger held a ten-year professorship. These years mark his most productive phase and, in view of his work development, have a high significance within his overall oeuvre.

We offer public and individual archive tours, workshops such as screen printing or restoration workshops, art education for children, bike tours to the works in public spaces and much more.

We are happy to answer all questions about Rupprecht Geiger's work and life, for exhibition planning, assessments/expert opinions, regarding inquiries about the acquisition of his works and their restoration as well as for image material.
