    Overall impression

    Museum der Zukunft mit einigen Holpersteinen

    Wir waren heute mit unseren Kindern (7, 4 und 1 Jahr alt) im AEC und leider eher enttäuscht:
    Erstens mussten wir feststellen, dass im Kinderlabor kaum Anweisungen zu finden waren. Ohne Führung bzw. Ansprechen von Infotrainerinnen oder Praktikanten hätten wir keine der Stationen ausprobieren oder in Aktion sehen können.
    Beim ersten Versuch an der "Deep Space (Family)" Vorführung teilzunehmen, standen wir 20min an und wurden nicht mehr rein gelassen. Beim zweiten - 1,5h später - stellten wir uns auch nicht mehr brav hinten an, kamen rein, wurden aber von einer unfreundlichen Mitarbeiterin sofort mit unserem Buggy für unsere Einjährige hinaus geschickt (der hätte im hinteren Teil des Raumes noch genügend Platz gefunden!). Daraufhin blieben nur 3 von uns 5 bei der Vorführung, während welcher die Techniker mit technischen Problemen kämpften. (Soll auch in den Vorstellungen davor so gewesen sein. Start- und Endzeit der Deep Space Vorführungen waren daher um mind. 10min zeitverzögert).
    Leider funktionierten auch andere Stationen nicht. Z.b. Dort, wo es Musik über Kopfhörer zu hören gegeben hätte; die selbstspielende Flöte wurde mit Hilfe meines Mannes wieder zum Gehen gebracht; oder im untersten Geschoß, wo man mit zwei Robotern übers Handy Marionetten steuern kann - erst war ein Handy der beiden "disconnected", kurze Zeit später beide! Beim Schwammerl Suchspiel mit Studienteilnahme hängte sich das Tablet, mit dem wir gearbeitet haben, auf, bevor wir unser Ergebnis sehen konnten. Auf Nachfrage hatte der Herr im AEC Mantel leider nicht Zeit für uns.
    Wir haben aber auch eine SEHR bemühte junge Infotrainerin getroffen! Sie hat unseren Kindern unaufgefordert einige Musik Stationen gezeigt und erklärt.

    Alles in allem hätten wir uns von einem Museum der Zukunft, dessen Steckenpferd Technik ist, erwartet, dass diese reibungsloser funktioniert und wir als Familie mit Kleinkind und Buggy in einem Museum, das speziell für Familien wirbt, nicht mehr Zeit mit Warten vor dem Lift als bei Ausprobierstationen, wo wir dann auch nicht wissen was zu tun ist, verbringen.

    Ei Pflichtteil in den Ferien

    Wir sind jedes Jahr mindestens 1 mal dort mit unseren 3 Kindern und 3 unserer Neffen (6 - 11 Jahre)
    Am Besten gefällt uns das Deep Space wo wir im Weltall reisen und die Mitmach- Station. Am Besten ist, man macht eine Führung mit, dann weiß man genau, was man wo machen kann!
