Description Destination
Get out into nature, enjoy fresh forest air and boundless views – all this and much more is offered by a visit to the treetop walk in Neuschönau!
One of the longest treetop walkways in the world takes you high up. Visitors experience shared moments of happiness, a spirit of discovery, and boundless freedom in this impressive nature experience facility as they stroll through the various levels of the national park forest. The barrier-free path is suitable for both strollers and wheelchairs. Things get exciting at the learning and experience stations, where adventurers of all ages puzzle and tinker together. Brave souls experience a thrill when crossing balancing elements at dizzying heights. At the same time, you can stroll along in a relaxed manner and observe the hustle and bustle of nature. Particularly outstanding is the impressive panoramic view from the top platform of the 44-meter-high observation tower over the thousands of meters of the Bavarian Forest. The path ends at ground level in front of the doors of the Hans-Eisenmann-Haus visitor center. The “Waldwirtschaft” and the “Café Eisenmann” ensure the physical well-being of the guests. The combination with the outdoor animal enclosure right next door rounds off the day trip in an eventful way.
During the summer months, visitors can also expect a variety of event highlights, from sporting activities such as yoga to fun and games for the little ones. There is something for everyone here.
