The mountain adventure world "Kugelwald am Glungezer" is the world's largest outdoor ball track and offers an adventure area of ​​8,000 square meters at 1,560 meters above sea level. Here, wooden balls roll on pine wood tracks through the forest like a roller coaster. In addition to ski jumps and steep sections, there is a hollowed-out tree stump, a ball lift and elements for you to design yourself for the speedy Swiss pine balls. Socializing, games and fun are the main focus.
The facility consists of sustainably constructed wooden ball runs and play equipment that emphasize the natural experience. Visitors of all ages are guided through various wooden ball tracks made from pine wood, which are powered without external energy. The adventure world includes wooden ball runs, skill and activity equipment as well as a 25 square meter tree house. It also offers:
- A relaxation area with a viewing platform
- A forest classroom for school classes
- Self-build land for creative design
- A toddler area in front of the Alpengasthaus Halsmarter
The mountain adventure world is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the summer months from June to the beginning of October and is located at the Halsmarter middle station (1560 m). It is easily accessible by gondola and is an ideal destination for families, schools and kindergarten groups.

    Haben mit allen Enkeln von 3 - 12 Jahren den Kugelwald besucht. Ideal für heiße Sommertage, da die Bahn mitten im Wald liegt. Größere Kinder können sich selbst eine Bahn bauen und sind damit lange beschäftigt. Auch die Anfahrt mit der Gondel ist spannend.
