The Waldviertel Art Museum is an experience for the whole family and whatever the weather.
Every year, new experiential exhibitions with art that you can touch are shown on 12,000 m².
The large sculpture park invites you to play and discover.
Fresh bread can be baked according to old recipes in the large outdoor oven (for school classes and groups on request / at events).
The creative workshop offers a wide range of workshops for children, teenagers and adults. Our ceramics workshops for young and old are particularly popular. As a partner of the Lower Austrian Creative Academy, we offer a painting academy for young people aged 12 - 19.
Other highlights in the art museum are the Punch and Judy show, children's birthday parties, family celebrations, puzzle rallies and family tours.
The large IDEA museum shop sells souvenirs from the Waldviertel region as well as designs by the Warlamis family and beautiful items for the home and garden.
Visitors can refresh themselves in the cozy museum café.
The art museum is barrier-free.
A (bus) parking lot is located directly in front of the museum entrance.
