Just a stone's throw from Dresden's Frauenkirche, the German Hygiene Museum invites you to experience people and their bodies. For over 100 years, the unique hands-on museum has been allowing visitors to look "under the skin". Under one roof, the museum combines the permanent exhibition "Adventure Humanity" and the Dresden Children's Museum "World of the Senses" (for children between 5 and 12 years old). The listed museum building is a striking example of New Objectivity architecture. Public tours tell of the museum's eventful history in the 20th century.
