Description Destination

The art association was founded in 1893 as a national, non-profit and independent cultural institution. We provide an interdisciplinary workshop so that interested people can exchange ideas on the issues of our time through the visual arts, but also music, science, architecture, theology or philosophy. All of the association's activities are linked by the examination of the existential questions of man. The DG art space shows four to five exhibitions a year, accompanied by a broad supporting program, including artist talks, lecture series, concerts and readings. The association supports artists in many ways: by covering production costs, artist fees and exhibition publications. The DG deliberately seeks contact with other institutions for joint events, exhibition concepts or even traveling exhibitions. Children are also always welcome.
