The Schwechat Railway Museum of the VEF - Association of Railway Enthusiasts preserves the memory of the legendary Bratislava Railway. It is housed in the carriage hall and the workshop of this interurban railway, which was electrically operated from the very beginning. But its predecessors, local railways such as Schwechat - Mannersdorf or Bruck/Leitha - Hainburg or the Vienna - Aspang railway, are not neglected either: several carriages that are over 120 years old convey the feeling of traveling at the beginning of the 20th century.
