The small Würm stream bears the name of the last great ice age, the Würm Ice Age. There is a very idyllic section south of Gauting. The Würm meanders beautifully through the sparse forest here. There is a good gravel path along its banks, which is ideal for a stroller walk in rainy or sunny weather.
